Construction of an Artificial Interfacial Layer with Porous Structure toward Stable Zinc‐Metal Anodes

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries possess great potential in stationary energy storage devices. Nevertheless, the occurrence of zinc dendrite growth and hydrogen evolution reaction severely hinders utilization efficiency service life zinc-metal anodes. Herein, an situ etching strategy is proposed to construct interfacial layer with porous structure on surface foil under assistance tartaric acid (denoted as [email protected]). The optimized anode beneficial not only achieve uniform Zn deposition behavior due low nucleation overpotential, but also enhance kinetics reduced activation barrier. As expected, protected] symmetric cell delivers small voltage hysteresis superior stability for 5000 h at current density 1 mA cm−2. Moreover, protected]|NH4V4O10 exhibits high specific capacity long-term cycling stability.
